To book a truck or cargo van from Fetch, you must create a Fetch account, be more than 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license, and be approved through our process. Our approval process is quick and easy, simply submit the requested pictures through our web portal.

What is the Fetch cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel and get a full refund up to 24 hours before your rental starts. If you book a trip with less than 24 hours’ notice, you can cancel before the start time of your trip. If you cancel after the free cancellation period ends, you will be charged for the full rental.

No, you don’t need personal insurance coverage to book a Fetch truck or cargo van; if you don’t have insurance, you will need to add our insurance waiver during checkout. To rent with Fetch, the renter named on the rental agreement must have proof of an existing and current auto insurance policy with both Collision and Liability coverage that extends to a rental vehicle. Some Fetch vehicles offer supplemental coverage for both liability and collision. Please see our full list of insurance FAQ and Supplemental Coverage Options. During the Fetch verification process, you’ll upload photos of your active auto insurance and your driver’s license. Our team of verification experts will contact your insurance provider either via phone or carrier portal.

How much is the Fetch security deposit and when will it be refunded?

At pick up, on the day of your reservation, a security deposit hold will be placed on your payment method. Deposit amounts vary by vehicle but range between $50-$150. This is a refundable deposit hold. (It is very similar to the damage and incidentals deposit that hotels will place on your credit card.) The entirety of your security deposit hold will be released and returned to your available funds once your vehicle has been returned without any damage, incidentals or pending charges.
